Student Housing Developer Trinitas Receives LEED Accreditation

Commercial and multi-housing real estate development firm commits to eco-responsible designs

West Lafayette, Ind. (June 10, 2009) — Indiana-based Trinitas announces that employees Chris King and Joe Blake have earned the designation of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals. The LEED Certification Program is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. These certifications demonstrate Trinitas’ commitment to investing in the environment by incorporating eco-responsible technologies and concepts into its real estate project designs.

Mr. King, a principal of the company as well as Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Development and Construction Operations, is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and New York University School of Law. Mr. Blake, Director of Development and Construction Operations, earned BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and was employed with Eli Lilly for 22 years prior to joining Trinitas in March 2008.
